How we handle information collected through goldensudslv.com.

Golden Suds Laundry ("Golden Suds," "we," "us") operates goldensudslv.com and provides commercial laundry and linen service to businesses in Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas. This notice explains what we collect through the website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

This notice covers our website only. It does not cover information you give us over the phone, by text, in person, or in a service agreement.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote form or contact us through the site, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your business name
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your business type and estimated weekly volume
  • Anything else you choose to write in the message field

We ask for this because we cannot quote a linen program without knowing what you wash and how often. Every field on our form is there because it changes the price or the route.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement, described below.

How we use information

  • To prepare and send you a quote, and to schedule pickup and delivery
  • To respond to questions and provide customer service
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website
  • To measure whether our advertising works and to reach businesses likely to need linen service
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects, and we do not send marketing email to people who only visited the site without contacting us.

Categories of third parties we share information with

We do not sell your information. We do share it with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only for the purposes described here. Those categories are:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure. Amazon Web Services hosts the site and processes form submissions.
  • Email delivery. Amazon Simple Email Service delivers your quote request to our inbox. Google Workspace hosts our business email.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement. Google LLC, through Google Analytics and Google Ads, as described in the next section.
  • Professional advisors. Accountants and attorneys, where necessary and under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Legal and safety. Law enforcement or others where we are required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

Advertising and analytics

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, and Google Ads to run search advertising and measure which ads lead to quote requests, phone calls and emails. These services set cookies and collect the automatic information described above.

Enhanced conversions

We use a Google Ads feature called enhanced conversions. When you submit a form, contact information such as your email address or phone number is converted into an irreversible hashed value in your browser and sent to Google so Google can match your quote request to an ad you clicked. We are disclosing this because Google requires advertisers to tell customers that their information is shared with third parties performing ad measurement services on our behalf. Google processes this data under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms.

Tracking across other websites

Yes, third parties may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use our site. Google, in particular, may do so through the cookies and tags described above. We do not knowingly permit any other third party to collect such information through our site.

Reviewing and requesting changes to your information

If you have submitted information through our site and want to see it, correct it, or have it deleted, email Contact@goldensudslv.com from the address you used, or call (702) 349-8748. Tell us what you want changed. We will verify that the request is really coming from you before we act on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may need to keep some information to meet accounting, tax or legal obligations even after a deletion request.

Nevada residents

Nevada law gives consumers the right to tell a website operator not to sell the covered information it has collected about them. Golden Suds does not sell covered information, and we have no plans to. Sharing information with a service provider that processes it on our behalf, such as our host or our email provider, is not a sale under Nevada law.

Even so, the law requires us to maintain a designated request address, and ours is Contact@goldensudslv.com. You may submit a verified request there directing us not to sell your covered information. We will respond within 60 days, and if we need more time we may extend that by up to 30 days and will tell you if we do.

How we protect information

We maintain reasonable security measures to protect the records we hold, as Nevada law requires. The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to submitted quote requests is limited to people at Golden Suds who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve the account and to satisfy our tax and legal recordkeeping obligations, then delete or archive them. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention settings in those platforms.

Children

Our site and our service are for businesses. We do not direct the site to children and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other places, including our social media profiles and Google Maps. We do not control those sites and this notice does not apply to them.

Changes to this notice

If we make a material change to this notice, we will post the revised version at this address and update the effective date at the top of the page. Where the change is significant and we hold your contact information, we will also email you at the address you gave us. Please check back from time to time.
